Best fish I’ve had in a long time. No skin (that makes the fish steam when frying & so soggy) crispy thin batter. Delicious We ordered a large chips, it was too big for 2 people easy feed 3-4. Beef pie was also good. Gravy was yummy, wasn’t too keen on the curry sauce but that’s just a personal preference. Would definitely order from here again. Fish is cooked to order so there is a wait but that just means it tastes better

The fish was great, batter was the right amount of crispy and not too greasy. There was a queue but we didn’t mind waiting 20 minutes. The only thing I didn’t like was you have to pay for ketchup.

I love Haddock, Oscas fish 🐠 Gorgeous! So fresh, beautifully cooked in light crispy batter. Skinless, boneless. The Best ! And consistently so. I order small haddock, small chips £10. Haddock is good size and meaty. Excellent value. Oscas by far the best. I always give my cat some as a treat. Like me, he's very discerning, loves it, tucks in with vigour and none left. Also, their Savoloy nice n peppery. Spicy chicken burger and Hawaiian chicken burgers Yummy 😋 Service Excellent, pleasant and efficient. But oooh that haddock..... 😋💖

We visited Oscar's for lunch yesterday and it was by far the best fish and chips I'd eaten out of the three this holiday. The batter on the cod was crispy and the fish itself was lovely and fresh. The chips were nice and chunky which went down a treat with the curry sauce and mushy peas we had. My son and partner also enjoyed their meals too so we will be back next year when we're on holiday again

I've passed this shop countless times during my Saturday parkruns and always wondered what it was like—it’s usually closed when I’m out early. Last night, after a full day at the amusement park, I finally gave it a go and took the family along. The place was buzzing—packed with diners and takeaway customers alike. We chose to sit in, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious. The surroundings were just right for a chip shop: clean, relaxed, and welcoming. Service was genuinely friendly, and the prices were refreshingly reasonable. We’ll definitely be going back.

Best fish and chips I’ve had. Crispy batter, fish wasn’t greasy, cooked perfectly. Onions rings could be better, they were a bit small and I couldn’t really taste the onion, but I guess you don’t go there for the onion rings. The fish is delicious. And the staff are very friendly.
